About This Ministry - Our "S E T" Purpose

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

According to the Bible, creation is the very foundation of all things, as Jesus is the Creator (Colossians 1:13-17) Who came to earth to pay the price for the violations of all mankind. The purpose of SET Foundation Ministries, for the glory of God, is to use evidences and true science to Strengthen believers, Engage unbelievers, and Train others in creation apologetics and a Biblical worldview to help re-establish in our culture the foundation of creation! The founding documents of the United States of America include these words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal…” According to Scripture, man was created “in the image of God” (Genesis 1:26). He was not made from an ape-type creature to slowly transition into a human being. The founding worldview expressed both in Scripture and in the foundation of America was and is creation, which denotes a Creator. SET Foundation Ministries exists as a joint effort to reclaim this foundation in a day in which molecules-to-man, Darwinian evolution is taught and believed by multitudes as a fact of science. Though this effort is spawned by Creation Family Ministries, the work of missionary-evangelism by Jeff and Heather Setzer since 2000, their work over the years has relied heavily on help from other excellent ministries such as Echoes of Eden (Steve Lawwell), Family Truth Ministries (Janessa Cooper), and Good News for Little People (Evangelist Tim Vermaas). It is the plan of SET to work with other excellent ministries to restore the foundation of creation in our land and around the globe.
